Wayne Hall

Wayne Edward Hall, a Raymond resident died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his home in Raymond; he was 82. Wayne was born in Lewistown, MT to Howard and Elsie (Wray) Hall January 1, 1935. The family moved to Willapa country in 1941; he graduated from Willapa Valley in 1953. With a school program, he began working for Foster Company his senior year. It later became Pacific Wholesale and he was an employee for 20 years. He also logged with his father and custom farmed. Wayne was a very inventive man, he built his own small tractor and many tools and musical instruments. He was active as a Boy Scout leader and an officer in the Raymond Elks. For many years, he served as chairman of Toys for Christmas on the Willapa. Wayne was also a member of North River Grange Hall. His hobby was playing the violin. He loved attending auctions, and eating out at restaurants. His own business took flight in 1973 as Menlo Sales and Service Inc. The biggest building in Menlo besides the school. It housed chain saws, lawn mowers, power tools, etc. He was truly a #1 mechanic, who walked with God. He married in April of 1966 to Sharon (Hobart) Hall she survives him at the family home in Raymond. Also surviving Wayne are their two daughters, Michelle Hall and Heather Hallock; two granddaughters, Hailey and Reece and two grandsons, Seth and Sean. Wayne is also survived by a sister Betty Hampton (Vollie) of Raymond and brothers Bud Hall also of Raymond and Glen Hall of Nevada. At his request, no memorial services will be held.
