Timothy Bond

December 21, 1943 — May 12, 2014

Timothy A. Bond, a longtime South Bend resident died Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Willapa Harbor Hospital in South Bend; he was 70. Tim was born December 21, 1943 in Raymond, WA to Arthur and Maxine (Stapleton) Bond. He had worked as a Deputy for King County Police Department for some time before settling back in Raymond. Tim worked as Treasurer for Harbor Rock for 40 years before retiring and was also a Port Commissioner, District 2, for 28 years. He was a longtime member of the Raymond Elks Club, golfing was a favorite past time of Tim’s. Every chance he got he was on the course. Many memories were made with friends during hunting trips to Colorado. He also played on the local Pool League, enjoyed gambling, playing cards and slot machines. Tim was preceded in death by his wife Marsha in 2004, he later married Pamela September 18, 2010 in Raymond; she survives him at the family home in South Bend. He was also survived by a daughter Erin Bond, grandson Ethan Strozyk both of South Bend, two step daughters Raven Stoney of South Bend and Sheena Stoney of Elma; and a good friend, Percy Littlejohn. Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. May 31,, 2014 at the Raymond Elks Lodge. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
