Thelma Cone

Thelma M. Cone, a lifetime Raymond resident died January 21, 2015 at her home in Raymond. She was born February 20, 1923 in Raymond to Rudolph and Florence (Samples) Heyting. Thelma graduated from Willapa Valley High School in 1941 and went on to marry Merlin Cone in 1945 at Raymond, he preceded her in death. She was a stay at home mother and homemaker and enjoyed quilting, baking, reading and gardening. Thelma is survived by sons Thomas V. Cone (Dona) of Raymond, Timothy L. Cone (Julie) of Winlock and Allan E. Cone of South Bend; daughters Dolly M. Kaech (Werner) and Janice Waldref and Mike Kelm all of Raymond; four grandchildren, Becky Cone, Tawyna Cone, Chris Cone and Allen Waldref, and four great grandchildren as well as a special friend Bonnie Kero. She was preceded in death by a son Vernie L. Cone, brothers Vernie, Lester, Darrell and Melvin Heyting and sisters Dolly Bonkenhagen, June Cone, Myrtle Manlow and Sylvia Touchette.
