Ruthie Christensen

Ruthellen "Ruthie" Apperson Christensen passed away Tuesday April 18, 2023, with family by her side. She was 77. She was born May 23, 1945 to Preston & Vinice Wetherington Apperson, in Durango, Colorado. Moved to Washington in 1946.

 

Ruth married Elbert Christensen February 14, 1964, in Raymond, Washington.

 

Ruth loved her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her dog Rosie and two cats Henry and Hank.

 

Surviving Ruth are husband Elbert Christensen of 59 years of marriage, her brother Tom (Lois) Apperson of Raymond, her children Leon (Angela) Christensen of Raymond, and Tia (Mike) Johnson of South Bend. Grandchildren, Zane (Allison) Johnson of Raymond, Tyson (Rachael) Johnson of Elma, and Hayden Christensen. One Great Grandchild Callan Johnson due in August 2023

 

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Peggy Apperson Spoor, and her brother-in-law Chuck Spoor.
