Ross A. Baun was born in McCleary, Washington on December 3, 1983 to Pauline and Ricky Baun. He attended McCleary Grade School and graduated from Elma High School in 2002. He attended Wyoming Technical Vocational College after high school and returned to McCleary. In July 2010 he married Jodee Lahaie in McCleary. He had also worked at Sierra Pacific, Brumfield Construction and De Paul Logging. He was also a member of Carpenter’s Union. Ross was always tall for his age and his Grandma would always remind him not to be a bully, Ross took her advice to heart. He was at least 6’5†tall but had a gentle, loving soul. He made friends easily and leaves behind many who will miss him dearly. There are many, many stories about Ross that will always make his friends and family laugh. Please remember Ross with a smile. Ross is survived by his son, Axton, who was the keeper of his heart. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Pauline and Ron Pittman of McCleary, his father and stepmother, Ricky and Barb Baun of Raymond, his brother and sister in law, Todd and Kristil Baun and their children, Kennidy, Tyson and Talon of McCleary. He is also survived by his Grandmother, Jean Miller of Kalispell, Montana, his Grandfather Garry Baun, his stepsisters, Amber, Shauna, Eryn, Ronnie Sue and his step brother, Andrew. Ross is also survived by fiancée, Talonna Rice and her daughter, Lexi. Ross will also be missed by his large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Abundant Life Church, 100 Tech Way in the Satsop Development Park Elma, Washington. Ross was a gentle soul who left this world too soon. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to a fund for Axton at Our Community Credit Union.
