Phouy Sonephimmachack

Phouy Sonephimmachack, an Auburn resident died Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. She was 76. Phouy was born December 12, 1941 in Khammouane Namdik, Laos to Sone and Koun Sonephimmachack. Phouy was an avid Seahawks fan. She loved to watch their games on T.V. as well as her drama shows and soap operas. She was very proud of her garden, it was one of her favorite places to be. Phouy had a strong Catholic faith and while in Raymond she attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed all the gatherings and loved on her family every chance she got. She is survived by her daughters Seng (Phet) Daranikone and Nouphanh (Boungnok) Khanhasa; her brother Song (Prakob) Sonephimmachack; her nieces and nephews, Lisa (Khone) Vongphosy, Som Sonephimmachack, Kymm Sonephimmachack, Jill Sonephimmachack; her granddaughters Jenny (James) DuBois, Nikki Daranikone, Christine Rubey and her grandson Brian Khanhasa as well as her great grandchildren Haliyah, Junior, Kailee, Chloe, Steven, Sonja, Natalie, Jade, Austen, Maddox and Lydia. Phouy is preceded in death by her daughter Tongvanh Sonephimmachack. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Raymond. Graveside services will follow at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Raymond. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
