Philip Elcher

Philip Elcher, a lifelong Raymond resident passed away unexpectedly June 24, 2022. Philip was born in 1947 to Harvey and Lucille Elcher. He graduated from Raymond High School in 1965.  He went on to graduate from Centralia College in 1968 with an AA degree. Philip married the love of his life Merri Lynn Krupa in 1969. In 1970 he graduated from Central Washington State
College with his Bachelor of Arts degree. Philip went to work as an appraiser for the Laird Company in 1971. In 1972 he went to work for Raymond Federal Savings and Loan in Raymond, WA. He worked there until he was promoted to Branch Manager in Long Beach, WA in 1981. In 1988 Philip started his own appraisal business, Elcher Appraisals. Philip was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife. He is survived by his sister Marla Portmann [Mike], two nieces, a nephew and several cousins.  At his request a private family inurnment will be held later in the summer at Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo.
