Myra Bridgewater

Myra Margaret Bridgewater, a longtime Raymond resident died Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Willapa Harbor Hospital in South Bend, she was 88. Myra was born May 3, 1928 in Radersburg, MT to Charles and Hazel (Asitton) Holling. She married Jack Bridgewater in 1948 in Raymond. They moved to Montana for 15 years to operate an elk farm. Together they returned to Raymond in 2006. Myra loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she also enjoyed bowling and playing golf. Together, Myra and Jack also made wonderful memories hunting in Africa. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Bridgewater of Umatilla, OR and Billie Bridgewater of Bellingham; two sons, George Bridgewater of Raymond and Gene Holling of Colorado Springs. Myra is also survived by a sister Patricia Thompson of Chewelah and two brothers, Larry Holling of San Antonio, TX and Jerry Holling of Chelmsford, MA as well as 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Donations may be made in Myra’s memory to the American Heart Association Donations Processing Ctr. 1710 Gilbreth Road Burlingame, CA 94010-1795. At her request, no formal services will be held.
