Mary Kjoberg

Mary Imogene Kjoberg, 89, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the St. Peters Hospital in Olympia. She was born December 31, 1923 in Wolf County, Kentucky to John Frank and Pearl (Gilbert) Cable. Mary loved tending to her garden and her house plants. She was an excellent cook. Mary enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, sewing, singing and playing guitar for her children, grandchildren and family and driving her “big red bomber†car. She is survived by three daughters, Jody Monson, Starla Flemetis and Shannon Wylie, all of Raymond; a son Darrel (Sheila) Kitchen of Hemet, California; and a brother Garland Cable of South Bend. Mary is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, friends and acquaintances and her dog Arby. She is preceded in death by a son David Kitchen and her husband Nels Thomas Kjoberg. At her request there will be no memorial services.
