Lillie M. Walsh, a resident of Wishkah Valley, died Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam; she was 87. Lillie was born October 9, 1929 in Nahma, Michigan to Emil and Anna (Bergman) Sundling. Lillie is remembered as a mother and a homemaker. She loved spending time with her grandchildren making memories. She also enjoyed beach combing, especially after a storm. The treasures were aplenty, and her collection of glass balls was very impressive. She married Edmund J. Walsh in Reno, NV in 1951, he preceded her in death July 9, 1999. Lillie is also preceded in death by her sister Elsie and brothers Eric and Walt. She is survived by two daughters Teresa Ewing of Enumclaw and Kathleen (Guy) Dahlstrom of Wishkah Valley. Lillie is also survived by two grandchildren Melissa Zielinski and Teaka Dahlstrom and one great grandchild, Hannah Zielinski who will miss her dearly. Her granddaughters have some special memories. I like the how you tickled my back until I fell asleep, washed my hair in your sink and how you let me shut all the doors to the kitchen and danced all night with the cassette player. When you would go to Geri Degg\\'s house for coffee. You let me stay at your house during the summer. I love you very much and you will never be forgotten. I will cherish the memories from when I was young going to the park, feeding the ducks and play with Tuffy and Pandora. In high school you came to all my home games and always sat there so proud to say, \\\that’s my granddaughter.\\\" I\\'m going to miss our long talks about life, our phone calls catching up, and running errands for you. What I miss the most is you using sugar as a swear word, and how every time we parted you hugged me, kissed my head, and said \\\"I love you sweetie.\\\" Your love helped me grow in many ways and offer me opportunities. I love you and miss you every day. No services were held, at her request. Cremation arrangements were in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
