Ken was born January 23, 1946 to Betty (Jensen) Taylor and Raymond D. Taylor at the old St Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
Ken lived in both Olympia, WA and Willamina, OR, prior to moving to Raymond, WA when he entered fifth grade, graduating from Raymond High School in 1964.
Ken enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. He worked for Weyerhaeuser Company for 21 years and had his Forestry Contract with them for 13 years. After leaving Weyerhaeuser, for many years he provided lawn care for many people in Raymond and South Bend, WA.
Ken and the love of his life, Freddi Ginther, were together for over 34 years. She preceded him in death on November 19th, 2019, at 6:15am while he held her hand.
Ken is survived by his daughters, Brandi Hughes, husband Nick and two granddaughters, Madison and Makenzie Hughes, his daughter Katrina Smith and her two daughters, Zoe and Ava. He is also survived by a sister, Marcia Kovach, spouse (Tori) and two brothers, Steven Taylor, spouse (Dureen) of Raymond, and Jeffrey Taylor, spouse (Rachel) of Bremerton, as well as other family members.
Ken will be missed by all who knew him.
