Keith was born December 11, 1930 in Burtrum, Minnesota to Vernon and Ruth (Loven) Bugh. Keith graduated from Willapa Valley High School in 1949.

He volunteered for his service to our country and joined the Navy in January 1951. He served four years at the Naval Base in Kitsap - Bremerton. Following his duty in the Navy he returned home to Raymond and met his future wife and lifelong partner Betty (Lucas). She was a beautiful young lady working at the Tokay Theater on Duryea Street in Raymond. They fell in love and married June 29, 1956. It was a love that endured 67 years. Through those years Keith had many talents and passions. He worked as a skilled carpenter for Gurr and Son, fished commercially in the summer on his prized boat, the ‘Lori Ann’, with Bill O’Shaughnessy and worked many hours farming the property their family was raised on in East Raymond. Their home was filled with many memories of neighborhood kids every summer swimming in the river, helping harvest hay, and riding horses. Keith was also part of the creation of Highway 105 between Raymond and Westport. He was responsible for forging a path on horseback creating a foundation for a future highway.

Keith and Betty enjoyed traveling across the country with friends and family, camping and seeing the sights including Yellowstone, Titan National Park, Arizona and many more adventures. They shared a love for dancing, often opening their garage for dance parties.

Keith was also an avid sports fan. He loved football, especially the Seattle Seahawks. He often was on the sidelines watching and cheering on his grandchildren at their football, softball, baseball, and basketball games. In his younger days he spent many hours riding horses as well as riding broncos and bulls in rodeos. He also had many memories hunting with his friends in Colorado and the local Willapa Hills.

Keith is survived by his loving wife Betty; daughters Belinda (Jeff) Hayner, Debbie (Walter) Aust and son Ricky (Amy) Bugh; grandchildren Jeffrey Padgett, Shawn (Melissa) Aust, Courtney Davis, Mickey Bugh, Amber (TJ) Kaech, Kira Webb, Tyson Webb, Taylor Bugh, Anthony Bugh; great grandchildren Jordyn (Caleb) McCullough, Colby Davis, Dylan Davis, Aleahya (Zachary) Lee, Trayton Webb, Brody Aust, Ryder Aust, Stella Bugh and Sadie Kaech; great-great grandchild Ryker Lee.
