Karen Lorraine Stigall was born January 3rd, 1959 in Frankfurt, Germany to Harold Lorin Lundsten and Jo Ann Cizek. She passed away on September 7th, 2021 at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, WA with her husband and daughter by her side. Karen is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Albert Stigall of South Bend. They were married on August 8, 1976 in Raymond, WA. Karen is also survived by her children Abe (Sara) Stigall of South Bend, Sam (April) Stigall of Hoquiam, and Jenny (Randy Michael) Pickernell of Lacey. Karen’s grandchildren are Anthony, Mya, Keegan, Konnor, Destyne, Ethan, Isaac, Rylee, Khloe, and one great granddaughter Naomi. Karen’s twin brother Michael of Tacoma, and Linda (John) Church of Raymond, and Renee (Terry) Myers of Germany. Karen was a favorite aunt of all her nieces and nephews and she was “grandma pumpkin” to many others. She had many wonderful friends and family from all around the community and will be dearly missed by everyone. Karen worked at Dennis Company in Raymond, WA for over 29 years and was a much loved co-worker. She attended Grays Harbor College in 1989 and 1998 graduating with two college degrees. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, walking the trail from South Bend to Raymond, gardening, thrift stores, garage sales, and enjoyed the outdoors with her Alfie. Karen loved going to concerts and enjoyed rock n roll music. She was an animal lover, and had three dogs, Rosco, Watson, and CappySue. Karen never missed her kid’s sporting or school events. She volunteered with many events her children and grandchildren were involved in. She was the most loyal, gentle, kind, and wonderful person anybody ever knew. She will be dearly, dearly missed. A celebration of Karen’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of memorial flowers and donations, Karen requested people to walk the trail in honor of her memory.
