James Ronald
Anderson
December 7, 1943 – April 13, 2026
James Ronald Anderson, 81, of Raymond, Washington, passed away peacefully. He was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Arnold and Gertrude Anderson, who preceded him in death, along with his sister, Margaret.
James proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his service, he built a life defined by hard work and independence. He owned and operated his own saw shop and small engine repair business before spending 20 years as a log truck driver throughout the Pacific Northwest, where he eventually retired.
He found great joy and fulfillment in his hobbies, especially rebuilding his 1955 second-series GMC 650. James also held a love for racing and was an active member of a local racing club, where he formed lasting friendships and shared his passion for motorsports.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cassandra Anderson; his son, Nathan Anderson, and daughter-in-law, Audie Anderson; and his three cherished grandchildren.
James will be remembered for his strong work ethic, resilience, and dedication to his family.
At his request, no funeral service will be held. A memorial service will take place at a later date, to be announced.
