George Fenstemacher

George Edward Fenstemacher, a longtime Raymond resident died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Willapa Harbor Care Center; he was 75. George was born February 14, 1938 in Binghamton, NY to George and Dorothy (Powell) Fenstemacher. George graduated from Union Endicott Central High School in 1957. He went on to serve 4 years in the United States Air Force. George married Vickie Clark July 28, 1979 in Ontario, Oregon; together they moved to Raymond in 1985. He was Senior Loan Officer for Security State Bank, formerly Harbor Community Bank, in Raymond; retiring in 2004. George was a member of the Raymond Elk Lodge, Willapa River Lions Club, Pacific County R.C. Flyers and the Willapa Harbor Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing pool and flying model airplanes. He is survived by his wife Vickie of South Bend, two sons, Dan of Nevada and David (Tamara) of Oregon; two daughters Kathleen (Robert) Boyer of Arizona and Jennifer (Brad) Beckmann of Redmond; four grandchildren, Nick and Dalton Fenstemacher, Kurtis and Derek Beckmann. George is also survived by two brothers Albert of Georgia and Don of New York. Memorial services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Stoller’s Mortuary with a gathering to follow at the Raymond Elks. Memorials may be made to the Willapa Harbor Helping Hands, P.O. Box 597, South Bend, WA 98586. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
