Eleanor West

Eleanor (Jo) Ann West, a lifetime Raymond resident died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Willapa Harbor Health and Rehab. Center in Raymond; she was 75. Jo was born August 15, 1941 in Raymond, WA to Leland and Ethel (Pierson) Gamage. Jo was a graduate of Willapa Valley High School. She went on to work in the Seafood Industry as an oyster shucker for many years. She enjoyed her time volunteering for the Food Bank, the Pacific County Fair and helped out the Boy Scouts Club. Jo was a member of CrossRoads Church and the Grange Hall. In her spare time, she loved to pick little wild blackberries, reading and playing bingo on Wednesdays and Saturdays. She is survived by her brother Gary Gamage and his wife Phyllis of Raymond and her sister Doris Gamage also of Raymond. In Memory of Jo, donations may be made to H.A.V.A. Heart P.O. Box 243, Raymond, WA 98577. Memorial services will not be held at this time. Cremation arrangements were in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
