Eileen Elizabeth Coty, a longtime Raymond resident died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the St. Peter’s Hospital in Olympia; she was 85. Eileen was born May 10, 1928 in Omak, WA to Earnest E. and Elma (Buckmiller) Jones. Eileen grew up in Oroville, WA and spent her teenage years working on the family ranch. She met and married Jack Coty Nov. 27, 1947 and moved to Raymond in 1951. She worked for East Point Cannery before retiring after 21 years. After retiring, she enjoyed spending her time with her grandkids. Eileen also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and was an avid reader. She is survived by a two sons, Clyde (Terri) and Craig (Patti) Coty; daughters Cindy (Bill) Weiberg and Cathy Weiberg, all of Raymond. She is also survived by two sisters, Betty Jones of Tonasket and Linda Hayward of Ephrata. Grandchildren Clyde, Ryan, Scott, Paul and Aaron Coty, Renelle Smith, Allison McVey, Eric Weiberg, Jaime Tully, Chris and Chad Coty; and 14 great grandchildren. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband Jack C. Coty, brother Ernie Jones and sisters Margaret Mammel and Pauline Woodard. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo next to her husband, Jack. A gathering will be held at the American Legion in Raymond immediately following services. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to go to HAVA in Eileen’s name.
