Edna (Tiny) Marie Watt 89, a South Bend resident was called home by the Lord on November 19th . Edna had recently been a resident at the Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam. Edna Watt was born July 11th 1926 in International Falls Minnesota to Peter and Etta (Miller) Nadeau. Edna Watt married her husband Addy Watt at International Falls, MN in October of 1945, he died in 2006. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in South Bend. Was very active with the Special Olympics, Volunteering and was recipient of the Special Olympics Parent of the year award. She was a kind and loving person and her family meant the world to her. Edna always found the positive side to any adversity she was faced with. Edna enjoyed her grandchildren and all the holiday gatherings’ that brought family together. Addy and Edna had 10 children. Elizabeth, Jeff, James, Ernie, Terry, and Mike preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters Suzanne (George) Mullins of Aberdeen and Eunice (Neil) Schaak of Jacksonville, FL ; two sons Patrick of Seattle and Carl (Kathy) of South Bend; two sisters Janet Neimi of Gilbert, MN and Mitzi Ranta of Duluth, MN : two brothers John Slatinski of Ericksburg, MN. EZ Rollin of South Bend. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Memorial services are set for Noon December 12 at the First Baptist Church in South Bend.
