Edmund H. Crawford, a longtime Raymond resident died Thursday, November 27, 2014 at the Willapa Harbor Care Center in Raymond; he was 89. Ed was born August 22, 1925 at South Bend, Washington to Joe Crawford and Lola Glee (Smith) Crawford. Ed was a member of the United Methodist Church in South Bend. He had worked for Weyerhaeuser Company and then the Department of Transportation retiring after 30 years. In his free time he enjoyed mowing his large yard. He was also a big fan of the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks. Ed was such a Seattle sports fan that he was very upset when Seattle lost the Sonics basketball team in 2008. Ed is survived by his wife Ramona Crawford of Raymond; three stepsons, Wayne, Mark, and Daryl Miller also of Raymond. He is also survived by a step daughter Kathleen Semrau of Longview, WA; 6 step grandchildren with Ramona, 2 step great grandchildren with Katherine and 11 step great grandchildren. A nephew Keith Myron also survives him out of Wisconsin. Ed was preceded in death by a brother Jack Crawford and a sister Berniece Myron.
