Edith Maines

Edith M. Maines, died January 22, 2015 at The Willapa Harbor Care Center in Raymond. She was born on July 02, 1915 in Raymond to Charles and May (Sweet) Hagan in Ballard, WA. Edith graduated from Ballard High School, attended business school and worked as a stenographer in Seattle. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, loved playing pinochle, and made beautiful quilts. Edith was preceded in death by her husband Melvin F. Maines, her daughter Judith Pedersen, her brother Art Hagan, and her sister Bernice Hagan. She is survived by her son Dan (Cleone) Maines of Grayland, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Edith’s family would like to thank the staff at the Willapa Harbor Care Center and Dr. Shelley Deuber for the excellent care given to Edith over the past 2 ½ years. No memorial services will be held at this time. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
