Dorothy Blumenthal

Dorothy Blumenthal passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on July 1, 2015 at the age of 92. Dorothy Jean McClatchey was born in York Nebraska on July 21, 1922 to Warren S. McClatchey and Alberta Lovelace McClatchey. She grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming where she met Carl. After their marriage in February 1939 they moved to San Diego California where they both worked until 1943 when Carl was drafted into the Navy. They purchased a home in Lakewood Gardens in 1947 and enjoyed raising their two daughters, meeting lots of new friends, joining and participating in numerous organizations and making many happy memories.
