Don a devoted family man and lifelong resident of Pacific County, Washington, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at the age of 98.

Don proudly served his country by joining the U.S. Navy after graduating high school.

Don married Mary Jane Orkney, his beloved wife and companion for life. Together they had Mike, Michelle, and Gary and built a family rooted in love and tradition. He is survived by his grandchildren Shane Andrews, Dallas Clements, Teylor Dickey, and Ryan Nichols, along with many great-grandchildren who were a constant source of pride and joy.

An avid outdoorsman, Don found his greatest joys in flying airplanes, hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time at his cherished float house. His wisdom, warmth, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Don's extraordinary life will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Fern Hill Cemetery.

He will be deeply missed but not forgotten.
