Diane Sheri Cook

Diane Sheri Cook, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born July 2, 1955 to Robert and Eleanor Cook in Chehalis, Wa.

Diane attended Olympia High School, worked several jobs, lastly working over 10 years as a Cutter Operator & Bindery Clerk for Tumwater Printing and several years as Housekeeping Manager at Garden Courte Memory Care.

Diane is survived by her children, Stacia Gerdts and Brandon Faughender, son-in-law Steve Gerdts, granddaughters Tristan Faughender, Shelbie Gerdts, Katie Gerdts, siblings Larry Cook, Patty Donaldson, Fred Cook, Becky Broadbent and Sharri Cook, predeceased by her sister Shelli Ackerman. And four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Diane was a devoted mom, grandma, sister and friend. She was an avid reader, loved jigsaw puzzles, word search and watching crime TV. She treasured spending time with her family. She loved to laugh, relive memories, and go on day trips. She was proud to volunteer each week at her local food bank, making many dear friends.

She will be deeply missed and holds a very special place in many hearts. Diane’s legacy will live on in the memories she created with family and friends, and in the lives she touched through her kindness, strength, and unwavering loyalty. We can all honor Diane’s memory by staying close and supporting our family and friends, through their successes and challenges.

Graveside Service will be held on June 27, 2025 at Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo at 12:00 p.m., reception to follow at 7042 183rd Avenue SW Rochester WA 98759
