Darlene D. Coma, a South Bend resident, died Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Willapa Harbor Hospital in South Bend; she was 77. Darlene was born November 28, 1938 in Menlo, WA to Ervin and Minnie Duvall. She graduated from Willapa Valley High School with the class of 1956. Darlene married Thomas Coma August 20, 1960 at the Raymond Baptist Church, he survives her at the family home in South Bend. Darlene made a career at Harbor Community Bank as branch manager, retiring in 1999. She was also a devoted mother, who loved to care for her family and spend time with her grandchildren. Darlene is survived by her husband Tom of 56 years, a son Rick (Britt) Coma of Kirkland; two daughters Teri (Mark) Meyer of Puyallup and Tami (Jay) Sims of Kirkland as well as five grandchildren, Andrew, Adeline, Hailey, Carly and Emily. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jean Marquiss. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo. A celebration of Darlene’s life will be held immediately following at the Raymond Elks Lodge. In lieu of flowers donations in Darlene’s memory may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association P.O.
