Courtney P. Bell a South Bend resident, died December 21, 2015 at the Willapa Harbor Care Center in Raymond. She was born July 28, 1943 in Missoula, Montana to Clarence and Rachel (Perrenoud) Bell. Courtney was preceded in death by her beloved husband Buck, and Brother Herbert. She was an accomplished artist and musician who loved playing the harp. Her favorite harp was one beautifully crafted by her husband, who built harps from trees he cut on their property in Republic. In 1983, she and her partner at the time kayaked over 2,500 miles down the eastern seaboard and through the Florida Keys in a 17 foot canoe made of laminated poplar. She had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially her kitties. At Courtney’s request there will be no funeral services. She will be laid to rest with her husband.
