Clyla Lavon Wilson, 95 of Willapa, passed away peacefully at the home of her son Dale, Saturday, April 3, 2021. She was born Clyla Lavon Swensen on January 4, 1926, in Logan Utah to Royal and Norma Swensen. At a bowling alley in Logan she met her future husband, Bill, a soldier stationed in Utah during WWII. After the war they moved to Raymond, Bill’s home town and built the family home in Old Willapa where she lived until her recent illness. She enjoyed traveling, reading and weekly card games with her friends. Her husband W.D. “Bill” Wilson, son Duane R. Wilson and dear friend Ralph Worden preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Dale Wilson and his wife Camille in Hoquiam. She is also survived by five granddaughters; Nicole Hayes of Chula Vista, CA, Rhonda Wilson of Toledo, WA, Rebecca Wilson of South Bend, WA, Lisa Wilson of The Dalles, OR, and Kylie Dawson (Kent) of Aberdeen, WA. Two grandsons, Sean Wilson of Myrtle Beach, SC and Tony Wilson of Ocean Shores, WA. Plus several great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She also leaves nieces, nephews and many dear friends. There will be a grave site service at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond, Washington.
