Clayton Glen
Stigall
Dec 15, 1948 — Sep 23, 2026
Clayton Glen Stigall (II) passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026, in Olympia Washington.
Glen was born on December 15, 1948, in Des Ark Arkansas to Clayton and Piney (Underwood) Stigall. Glen and his family moved to South Bend, Washington in the 1950s where he attended South Bend High School. Glen honorably served his country in Vietnam where he held the rank of "Buck Sergeant" (E-5) in the army. During his time in Vietnam, he was awarded a bronze star with a "V" device which is the fourth-highest combat award of the United States Armed Forces, given for heroic or meritorious achievement or service in a combat zone. Glen was a hard worker, who often told stories about his times working in the bean and strawberry camps, as well as picking ferns with his family. He spent the majority of his career in the logging industry where he worked for Grays River Log and eventually retiring from Weyerhaeuser. Glen also enjoyed bowling in his younger days and was quite successful. He held multiple 270 patches and got to play with some of the best in pro-am tournaments.
Glen cared about his family very deeply. He enjoyed watching all the children in their sporting events. It was rare for him to miss a football game when a family member was playing. He was also very generous and would always be willing to help someone out in times of need. Glen would be the one to help someone out when no one else would because he understood struggle and wanted to see everyone better themselves.
Glen was proceeded in death by his parents Clayton and Piney, his siblings Tom, Earl, Johnny, Robert (Nag), Wales, Arley, and Gid. Glen is survived by his wife Debbie, daughter Kristy (Ramiro), son Clay (Brittany), stepson Danny, granddaughters Majaeila (Cory) and Maleika, grandson Ramiro, brother Teed (Wendy), sister Sabrina (Steve), and multiple great grandchildren.
A grave side service will occur at 11:00 a.m. October 24, 2026, at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo, WA open to family and friends.
