Carl’s commitment to his community was quiet and deep. For 25+ years, he spent hours
each season maintaining and hanging the Christmas lights in South Bend with his
family. Before his passing, his family raised funds to acquire a Christmas tree for the
City of South Bend to display during the holidays. Though he will not see the project
come to its fruition, his family hopes you will see it and remember him fondly.
