Broden Nations

April 14, 2009 — August 24, 2017

"Broden David Nations, son of Leah (Workman) Nations and David Nations, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on August 24, 2017. He was born April 14, 2009, and was eight years old. Broden, also known as Bro Bro, loved everyone and always tried to make people laugh and be happy with his warm hugs and sense of humor, especially his family whom he gave giant heart felt hugs, always saying, \\\I love you most\\\"" to all of them. He loved chickens", goats, dogs, cats, and most recently his Turk Turks (baby turkeys), and always gave them well thought-out fitting names. Broden loved swimming no matter how cold the water was, and would stay in the water all day. He loved camping, fishing and chopping things with his cherished hatchet. He was truly funny, and was always teasing, tricking or playing pranks on people. Broden loved his video games, and had a genuine love of music and singing. He loved picking and eating all kinds of berries, especially strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. His very favorite color was green. He had a real love of history, especially anything to do with the Titanic and other ships. Broden was very creative and could make something out of anything. He was a story teller, and made up many tales of adventure. He adored his cousins, special friends, and utterly loved his brother Owen. He also loved his Teddy Bears, and spending time with his Grammy and Papa. Broden is survived by his parents and little brother Owen at the family home, Grandparents Dave and Petra Workman, Carl and Mollie Nations, cousins Seth, Sadie, Devon, Carson, Allie, Hudson, and Anderson as well as his Uncle Brandon and Aunty Mandy Borden, and Uncle Tom and Aunty Carlene Carlyle. Broden also leaves behind many Great Aunts and Uncles, special friends, and numerous people who held a special place in his heart. Broden touched the lives of everyone he met, and his presence in our lives was a special gift we will always be thankful for. Broden will truly be missed but never forgotten. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 1:00 pm, September 9, 2017 at the Willapa Valley High School. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
