Brady Duane Langer, age 35, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, at his family home in Holcomb, Washington.
Brady was born on August 6, 1989, in Aberdeen, Washington, and grew up in the Willapa Valley. A proud 2007 graduate of Willapa Valley High School, Brady was a standout basketball and football player who earned local and state honors. He went on to attend Grays Harbor College, where he continued to nurture his love of learning, sports, and the outdoors.
Brady was known for his generous spirit, unwavering loyalty, and deep connection to his community and lifelong friends. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, coaching and officiating youth sports, crossfit and weight training, playing community basketball and baseball, and making firewood. Brady loved sharing his skills and talents with children in the community. His kind heart and strong work ethic were evident in everything he did. Most recently, he was employed by Destination Hope and Recovery, where he made a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
Brady is survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Gina Langer; his sister, Courtney Langer, her fiancé Chris Ryan, and their son Nolan Christian Ryan; his grandparents, Jerry Langer, Neva and Manley Niemcziek, Pete and Penny Kramer, and Marlene Kramer; his Uncle Michael and Aunt Kelli Langer; his Aunt Gaye and Uncle Hector Moreno; and cousins Nicholas Moreno, Aaron Langer, Drew Langer, Jillian Casey, and Leah Langer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Brady’s legacy will live on in the memories he created with family and friends, and in the lives he touched through his kindness, strength, and unwavering loyalty. We can all honor Brady’s memory by staying close and supporting our family and friends, through their triumphs and challenges.
A Rosary service will begin Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Frances, Washington, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo at 12:30 p.m., with a reception to follow at the Swiss Hall in Frances at 1:30 p.m.
The family is requesting that any donations be made to the Willapa Valley Alumni Scholarship Fund in Brady’s honor.
