Bonnie Hadlock-Miles, 88 of Hoquiam died Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, at her home following an extended illness. She had been a resident of Hoquiam the past 37 years. Bonnie was born April 20, 1927 at Loveland, Colorado, to Ernest and Addie Thomas. When she was in grade school the family moved to Raymond, Wash. where she graduated from high school in 1945. In 1945 Bonnie married Clarence Hadlock. Following Clarence\\'s discharge from the U.S. Navy they moved to Vancouver, Wash., where they raised their 5 children. She was a homemaker and worked many years as a school bus driver for the Vancouver School District. Following their retirements they moved to Hoquiam, where they enjoyed spending time with their family and grandchildren. In addition she became quite an avid Mariner\\'s fan. Clarence passed away in Oct. of 1990. Bonnie married Jim Miles in July of 1993. Jim passed away in Feb. of 2003. Survivors include her companion of 10 years, Don Holmin at the family home, 3 sons, Terry (Rhonda) Hadlock of Woodburn, Or., Randy (Patty Jones) Hadlock of Humptulips, Brad Hadlock of Hoquiam, daughter Lorene (Dan) Burns of Hoquiam, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her son, Donavon, 2 brothers, Maxwell and James and 3 sisters, Audry, Esther and Ollie. A private graveside service will be held on Dec. 30 at the Menlo Cemetery.
