Beverly Jean (Quick) Burgi, a Raymond resident died March 9, 2018 at her home; she was 72. Beverly was born to Thelma and Randolf Quick May 14, 1945 in Longview, Washington.
Bev graduated from Castle Rock High. After working the summer, she decided she didn’t want to work on the assembly line for life; so on to college she went and became a very special teacher and coach. As a proud Valley Viking, Bev taught and coached generations of families at Willapa Valley High School.
After retiring, Bev kept up her Viking spirit by attending all sporting events. Outside of school Bev enjoyed golf, bowling, playing cards and hanging out with friends at the former T.N.T. and her adopted family the Campbell girls.
Bev lived her life to the fullest even after her physical health issues. Bev would get out as much as possible. As she slowed down over the years she spent her time at Bingo, at the Casino with Ruby and watching sports on T.V.
We will miss you Bever, the black sheep of our family!
