Betty Mullins

Betty Jane Mullins, a longtime Raymond resident, died Saturday, November 5, 2016 at her home in Menlo surrounded by family and friends. Betty was born March 5, 1942 in Onalaska, WA to Elmer and Josephine (Hedgers) Milton. She worked for Weyerhaeuser for a short time, and taught at the Christian Fellowship Academy in East Raymond before becoming a full time homemaker. Betty was an excellent baker, cook and seamstress. She was a devout Christian who loved everyone dearly, sharing her faith with anyone she encountered. Betty attended the former Raymond Assembly of God Church for many years, and attended New Life Fellowship Ministries in Raymond for the past ten years. Betty loved to sing and play music, she had talent for many instruments including piano, organ and accordion with ambitions to learn other instruments. She enjoyed reading, especially Christian Literature, finishing a few books per week. Betty strived to help everyone feel loved and gave hugs generously and often. She married Ermine Mullins, in Raymond on March 9, 1964 he survives her at the family home in Menlo. Betty is also survived by her children, Heidi (John) Black of Elma, WA, Wes (Christine) Mullins of Sweet Home, OR, Jacob (Erika) Mullins of Spokane, WA, Joshua (Laura) Mullins of Aberdeen, WA and Candi (Chris) Burns of Orondo, WA; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews Ann, Sandy, Bob and Bill. Memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Missionary Fund through New Life Fellowship Ministries. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2016 at Crossroads Church in Raymond, burial will follow at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo.
