On Friday June26, 2026, Annette Louise (Jensen) O'Hara passed away peacefully at the family home surrounded by her children. 

Born February 1,1937, to Jim and Melvia Jensen of Raymond and later big sister to brother Michael Jensen. She graduated from Raymond High School, attended Pacific Lutheran University and later worked as a secretary at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma. She later met and married the love of her life, Dennis O'Hara. They married on July 11, 1959, in Raymond and had 5 children.

They lived in Aberdeen and then later in Tacoma where they grew their family. They were active members of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church where Annette would work part time as a secretary when the kids were older. She enjoyed singing in the choir and serving in women's groups while being a devoted wife and mother.

In 1992 her and Dennis moved back to their childhood home in Raymond to care for her mother. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and then First Lutheran in South Bend, where she enjoyed playing the piano for over 20 years.

Mom was a homebody. She enjoyed being outside in the garden, knitting, singing in the chorale, attending Sunday Afternoon Live, reading a mystery or biography, cooking, crosswords, watching a musical (especially if her son Terry was the Musical Director), watching the Mariners and the Seahawks and of course playing the piano. But her greatest joy was in spending time with her family.

A few years after the death of Dennis in 2000, she reacquainted with longtime family friend Arthur Swanson of Raymond. He would become a constant companion and together they would share many wonderful years together.

Annette is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 41 years, Dennis O'Haraand son Terrance. She is survived by her brother Michael and Teresa Jensen of Olympia; children James and Mona O'Hara of Tacoma, Patrick O'Hara of Raymond, Denise and Michael Kramer of Montezuma, GA, Erin and Eric Campbell of Phoenix, Arizona; Grandchildren Jeremy and Andelana O'Hara, Joshua and Mikaila Campbell, Mckenna and Luke Kramer; great-grandchildren Ethan, Liam, Lillian, Abigail, Kennedy O'Hara, Ellie and Norah Campbell; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Her close friend's The Arthur Swanson Family.

A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00, Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, at First Lutheran Church in South Bend. Graveside service will be held at Vaughn Bay Cemetery in Vaughn, WA at a time to be determined. Arrangements are in care of Bayview Funeral Home in Raymond
