Anna Lyons

Anna Lora Cudney (AKA Little Grandma) was born on their homestead in Logan, Montana June 24, 1916 to Edgar Lee Cudney and Hazel Grace (Tomlinson) Cudney. Anna passed away at her home on June 12, 2014. Anna married Richard Pearson in Portland, OR in 1933. They had 3 children: Janet, Anna and Howard Pearson. She later married Lawrence Axford and had a daughter Sheila Axford. Anna later divorced Lawrence and moved to Coos Bay, Oregon with her 4 young children. World War II had started and she found work in factories from 1942-1948. From Oregon, Anna moved to Bay Center, WA to be with her father and her brothers when they returned from the services. There she met Charles Wayne Lyons and married him January 17, 1953, they were married 55 years. Wayne had 6 children: Richard, Dean, Jim, Larry, Nonnie and Sharon. Wayne passed away November 4, 2008. Throughout the 50 years they lived in Curtis, WA. The combined family celebrated Christmas, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day and Anna’s Birthday every year. At...
